And how do you know that these things are true?

The Quraan is The Covenant

---------------------------------------------------------------

- [4:122] But the ones who believe and do righteous deeds - We (Allaah) will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. [It is] the promise of Allaah, [which is] truth, and who is more truthful than Allaah in statement.

- [7:44] And the dwellers of The Jannah will call out to the dwellers of The Fire, "We have already found what our Lord (Allaah) promised us to be true. Have you found what your Lord (Allaah) promised to be true?" They will say, "Yes." Then an announcer will announce among them, "The curse of Allaah shall be upon the wrongdoers."

- [9:72] Allaah has promised the believing men and believing women gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide everlastingly, and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence; but approval from Allaah is greater. It is that which is the great attainment.

- [9:111] Indeed, Allaah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have The Jannah. They fight in the cause of Allaah, so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him (Allaah) in the Tawraah and the Injeel and The Quraan. And who is truer to his covenant than Allaah? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment.

- [10:55] Unquestionably, to Allaah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Unquestionably, the promise of Allaah is truth, but most of them do not know.

- [14:22] And Satan will say when the matter has been concluded, "Indeed, Allaah had promised you the promise of truth. And I promised you, but I betrayed you. But I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me; but blame yourselves. I cannot be called to your aid, nor can you be called to my aid. Indeed, I deny your association of me [with Allah] before. Indeed, for the wrongdoers is a painful punishment."

- [24:55] Allaah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He (Allaah) will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He (Allaah) granted it to those before them and that He (Allaah) will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He (Allaah) has preferred for them and that He (Allaah) will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me (Allaah), not associating anything with Me (Allaah). But whoever disbelieves after that - then those are the defiantly disobedient.

- [30:6] [It is] the promise of Allaah. Allaah does not fail in His promise, but most of people do not know.

- [31:33] O mankind, fear your Lord (Allaah) and fear a Day when no father will avail his son, nor will a son avail his father at all. Indeed, the promise of Allaah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allaah by the Deceiver (Ashaitaan).

- [35:5] O mankind, indeed the promise of Allaah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allaah by the Deceiver (Ashaitaan).

- [39:20] But those who have feared their Lord (Allaah) - for them are chambers, above them chambers built high, beneath which rivers flow. [This is] the promise of Allaah. Allaah does not fail in [His] promise.

- [41:30] Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is Allaah " and then remained on a right course - the angels will descend upon them, [saying], "Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of The Jannah, which you were promised.

Abu Hurairah or Abu Sa`eed Al-Khudri narrated that

The Messenger of Allaah said:

Indeed, Allaah has angels who go about on the earth in addition to the Kuttaa(Angels recording the deeds) of people. So when they find groups of people remembering Allaah, they call to one another: ‘Come to that which you have been seeking.’ They will come and cover them up to the lowest heaven. Allaah will say: ‘What were My worshipers doing when you left them?’ They will say:

We left them as they were praising You, glorifying You, and remembering You.’” The Messenger of Allaah said: “So He (Allaah) will say: ‘Have they seen Me?’ They say: ‘No.’” The Messenger of Allaah said: “So He (Allaah) will say: ‘How would it be had they seen Me?’ They will say: ‘Had they seen You, they would have been more ardent in praise of You, more ardent in glorification of You, more ardent in remembrance of You.’” The Messenger of Allaah said: “So He (Allaah) will say: ‘And what do they seek?’” The Messenger of Allaah said: “They will say: ‘They seek The Jannah.’” The Messenger of Allaah said: “So He (Allaah) will say: ‘So have they seen it?’” The Messenger of Allaah said: “So they will say: ‘No.’” The Messenger of Allaah said: “So He (Allaah) will say: ‘So how would it be had they seen it?’” The Messenger of Allaah said: “They will say: ‘Had they seen it, they would be more ardent in seeking it, and more eager for it.’” The Messenger of Allaah said: “So He (Allaah) will say: ‘So from what thing do they seek refuge?’ They will say: ‘They seek refuge from The Fire.’” The Messenger of Allaah said: “So He (Allaah) will say: ‘And have they seen it?’ So they will say: ‘No.’” The Messenger of Allaah said: “So He (Allaah) will say: ‘So how would it be had they seen it?’ So they will say: ‘Had they seen it, they would be more ardent in fear of it, and more ardent in seeking refuge from it.’” The Messenger of Allaah said: “So He (Allaah) will say: ‘So I (Allaah) do call You to witness that I have forgiven them.’ So they will say: ‘Indeed among them is so-and-so, a sinner, he did not intend them, he only came to them for some need.’ So He will say: ‘They are the people, that none who sits with them shall be miserable.’”
