Doofesh, I like that very much. Apostates are such queer and angry people. They themselves, in their wretchedness, are proof that God exists.

Doofesh
platonk, Thank you for liking my presentation to T-G.
I take this opportunity to request you to elaborate on your experience of having seen God. Your elaboration should not be by way of presenting evidence, but just to enrich knowledge on this vital subject.

Doofesh, My encounter was with the white hot light fire that does not consume. It was what the Hesychasts seek and recognize as contact with God who is perceived as light, peace and an absolute promise of eternal life. In fact that was in some sense the choice I had in that moment. I made my choice and that was akin to what Buddhists would describe as becoming a Bodhisatva..

Doofesh
platonk, I believe in the freedom of belief.
My further questions about your experience of seeing God are not intended to oppose your freedom.
I can see that your experience has a human definition of what God is, but it does not have anything that comes from God.
- Has God ever said that he is "perceived as light, peace and an absolute promise of eternal life"?
- Does the choice of a human being at a given moment have the power of incarnating the concept of God?
- How can the mere perception of one person be authentically similar to that of another person?
